Stars Light Stars Bright

Sunday, 23 October, 2011

UFOSA received a call on Saturday night 22 October 2011 at 10:30 p.m. alerting us to the presence of a bright “star like” object, surrounded by other similar bright objects, to the East North East of Adelaide, as seen from one of the coastal suburbs in northwest Adelaide.

We will check the STAR CHART for the evening and try to determine if it could be a low-flying hovering planet with associated moons or some geostationary space debris.

It should be noted that in the 1950′s and 1960′s, there were time lapse photographic coverage of the night sky with fixed motion pictures cameras taking periodic shots perhaps every 10 minutes.

The resulting roll of film contained a swirling motion picture show with various stars and planets forming the swirling motions.

HOWEVER, in the midst of some of these sessions were very unusual stationary bright lights, in a time frame of the “space age” when there were few if any geostationary human satellites, aircraft, rockets or weather balloons.

Labrador Moonstruck After UFO Visit

Thursday, 13 October, 2011

On Sunday 25 September 2011, at about 6 a.m. in the morning, at a time of day when there was plenty daylight, a resident near Adelaide was awoken by a large object, whose presence was first detected by a shadow falling on timber venetian blinds over a window.

The object moved slowly and emitted a very loud roaring noise, and was similar to a mix of a passing car and truck mixed together.

The resident was investigating what was happening outside and at about 6:20 a.m. noticed that the family Labrador Retriever was missing, and this was very strange as the Labrador was normally very attached to the house.

Scratch marks were discovered on concrete outside the house.

Several hours later the Labrador returned and it was noticed that a rear toenail was missing on the Labrador.

Also, the Labrador was very distressed.

For the next two days the Labrador seemed very wary of everyone and everything.

In the next weeks, the Labrador could often be found to be transfixed or semi-hypnotised, and often gazing in total amazement at lighted objects at night, and especially the moon.

The UFO object had given the Labrador a very good reason to be Moonstruck.

The period of Sunday 25 September 2011 was also a date when there was at least one other UFO report.

Here is the link to that UFO report:

Huge Craft Over Adelaide Sunday 25 September 2011

Monday, 10 October, 2011

On Sunday, September 25, 2011, a massive UFO was seen in the sky over Adelaide, South Australia. The resident who reported the UFO sighting and documented the unidentified flying object on video said that the UFO sighting began with the arrival of one single light. It was followed by several others. The witness described the object as extremely bright, extremely large, and low to the ground.

Forty-five minutes after the UFO disappeared, the witness reportedly saw a convoy of helicopters, several airplanes, and a military jet in the surrounding area. These aircraft allegedly scoured the sky until after daybreak.

The observer was able to capture six minutes and twenty-two seconds of the UFO sighting on the video that was posted to gooseandscribe13′s Channel. The video shows the arrival of the large brightly lit unidentified flying object as it slowly moved into view. The object grows closer; the lights appear to alternately dim and brighten. The number of visible lights changes from two to three, then four, multiple times. The UFO appears to disappear for a moment before reappearing in the same location.

The video of this UFO sighting is excellent if you can get past the new age music and sound effects. This is the description that the observer posted to YouTube in his/her own words:

“Filmed in Adelaide, South Australia September 25, 2011. Started of as 1 single light than until several lights could be seen. This thing was extremely bright when it wasn’t dimming, extremely large and very low to the ground before vanishing. About 45 minutes later there were a convoy of helicopters a couple planes and a military jet in the area and surrounding area scouring the sky until shortly after sunrise. I have never witnessed such a display or anything like this before.”

The description continues on the video itself:

“Object was extremely large and low to the ground. Moved slowly but sometimes remained stationary. Became very bright. Number of lights seemed to change. Faded in and out. Lasted about 15 minutes.”

Bumper Crop of Oranges

Wednesday, 5 October, 2011

In the years 2010 to 2011 Australia was blessed with wonderful significant rainfall that temporarily eased the drought conditions and brought in above-average crop productions in South Australia, to include ORANGES, that sometimes sell at 3Kg for $1.

However we did not expect the flurry of sightings of oranges in the night sky that recently came pouring in.

According to a caller, many orange lights can be seen traversing the skies to the west of Adelaide and performing maneuvres that are far beyond the human. The caller said these were observed on the York Peninsula, to the west of Adelaide, travelling eastwards across the St. Vincent Gulf towards Adelaide.

They included Oranges going up and down, or sometimes sideways, in motion, and crossing the night sky at “phenomenal speeds”.

We shall follow up on these reports and find out more, such as a possible reason or cause for the lights.

(Flares launched from ships or land do not cross the horizon or perform exotic aerodynamic acrobatics.)

Mount Lofty UFO Sunday 26 June 2011

Wednesday, 6 July, 2011

It was reported to UFOSA, by a long time UFO enthusiast and witness from the UFO Woomera days, that on Sunday 26 June 2011, a very colourful UFO was spotted in the air space above Mount Lofty, just to the east of Tandanya Adelaide.

The report was called in to 5AA Radio on Monday or Tuesday night 27-28 June 2011, by a male caller, who we cannot identify, to 5AA talk show host Bob Frances, who attributed the UFO or OVNI to laser lights or other light beams, at which time the caller mentioned the object was able to waver or wobble in the air before doing a magic disappearing act.

3 Metallics Near Victor Harbour

Friday, 17 December, 2010

The UFOSA report line (08) 9269 3217 received information from a witness in Victor Harbor South Australia in November 2010 that some photos were taken while facing west about sunset and some strange “lines” in and near the clouds in the sky were noticed.

Upon examining the photos later, the witness discovered three distinct metallic saucer type objects in the photos.  They reportedly had the traditional saucer with raised center inverted “cup” appearance.  No unusual sounds were noticed.

UFO Night Lights West of Adelaide

Friday, 22 October, 2010

On Monday 18 October 2010 extending into early Tuesday 19 October 2010, three separate UFO sightings were made in three hours between the hours of 10:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

These involved points of lights and lighted objects, resembling glowing balls, that would

  1. appear
  2. perform sophisticated maneuvres
  3. quickly disappear

Because the objects or light sources were not doing things that human aircraft can do, they were probably UFO’s.

One of the light flights reportedly lasted for a few minutes, which in UFO reports is considered long, since many UFO’s seem to come and go across vast stretches of sky in several seconds.

Also some of the lights appeared to dance or move around in ways that human air craft or space craft are not able to move.

Because of confidentiality issues, we are cannot disclose any details of the witnesses, but can admit that if these three acts, of what would have been a majestic UFO show, were not covered by the media, then it is further evidence of the UFO coverup.

The location of the lights display was west of north Adelaide.

If further information is made public then we will note it here.
